Sanford's Alive After Five
August 12, 2010 -- We invite you to join us in beautiful downtown Sanford for the biggest monthly street party in Central Florida. We start the party at 5:00pm and it lasts until 8:30pm, always on the second Thursday of the month. Love Your Shorts Film Festival
February 11-13, 2011 -- We are excited to let you know about a new film festival coming to town! The Love Your Shorts Film Festival will debut February 11-13, 2011, in Sanford, Florida, a community that embraces the arts – and is now ready to add a movie festival to its art scene. The festival is open to novice and veteran filmmakers, both amateur and professional in all categories. The event will showcase films of up to 30 minutes. Fifty Years in Business
When Harrell & Beverly opened up in Sanford, FL in 1959 a gallon of gas cost just 25 cents, Alaska and Hawaii became the 49th and 50th states respectively, Frank Sinatra was singing his way to the top of the charts and Harrell & Beverly opened up shop in Sanford, FL.
Since that time some things have changed, like the cost of gas. Some things haven’t changed; Alaska and Hawaii are still part of the Union and Frank Sinatra still sounds good. And some things have gotten better with time, like the honest, dependable and professional service you can only get at Harrell & Beverly.
