We have rebuilt many transmissions over the years. However, with changes in vehicle technology, it is far more beneficial to the customer, with today's computer-driven vehicle, to install a JASPER® remanufactured transmission. We will walk you through all the options available to you if your vehicle needs a new transmission.

We're a proud installer of Jasper Engines and Transmissions.

What is a Transmission Tune-Up (TTU)?

Transmission fluid is petroleum based just like engine oil. Over time, both will deteriorate and their chemical properties will change – reducing the cooling and lubricating benefits.

You wouldn’t drive 50,000 or even 100,000 miles without changing your engine oil and filter. So, why would you do the same with your transmission?

We recommend that you have a Transmission Tune-Up Service completed once a year or every 15,000 miles.

Our TTU includes: a road test, under vehicle inspection, pan inspection, replacing the drainable fluid, cleaning or replacing the filter when accessible, adjusting the linkage, and a final road test and inspection.

Doing so will help your transmission continue to run great and help you avoid costly repairs!

Signs Your Vehicle Needs Transmission Care

Taking care of your car's transmission can save you from costly repairs down the road. Here are some friendly reminders to help you spot potential issues early:

Pay Attention to Warning Lights

The check engine light might signal a transmission issue. Bring your car to us, and we'll diagnose the problem accurately.

Look for Leaks

Keep an eye out for red or pink fluid under your car. Transmission fluid is easy to spot and should never be ignored. Check fluid levels regularly, especially before long drives.

Listen for Unusual Sounds

Your transmission should operate quietly. If you hear clunks, whines, or hums, it's time for a professional inspection.

Feel for Odd Shifts and Vibrations

Trust your instincts. If your car feels shaky or shifts oddly, let us take a closer look to prevent bigger issues.

Don't wait to address these issues. We can save you from costly transmission replacements or rebuilds by catching and fixing issues early on. Schedule an appointment for honest, reliable transmission care.
